Medication Services
Cortes Counseling is proud to collaborate with experienced APRNs who provide psychiatric medication evaluation and medication management services for children, teens, and adults. Through this collaborative approach, clients can receive medication management while remaining connected to their care at Cortes Counseling. Appointments are available through telehealth or in person, offering convenient access to individualized psychiatric care.
Our collaborating APRNs provide evaluation and medication management for a wide range of mental health concerns. Medication management can be coordinated with a client’s ongoing therapy when appropriate, supporting continuity of care and communication among providers.
Many major insurance plans, including HUSKY Health, are accepted. Coverage and eligibility may vary by provider and individual insurance plan.

Psychiatric Evaluation: 60 minutes
A comprehensive evaluation is designed to help answer important questions like:
-
Do I have a mental health condition that needs treatment?
-
Could medication be helpful for me—and if so, how?
-
How long might I need to be on treatment?
-
What are my full range of treatment options, including therapy, lifestyle changes, or other supports?
The goal of an evaluation is to provide clarity, guidance, and a personalized treatment plan that fits your needs.
Medication Follow-Up: 15-30 minutes
Follow-up appointments are an important part of your care. During these visits, we’ll check in on:
-
How well your medication is working
-
Any side effects you're experiencing
-
Whether adjustments are needed to improve results
-
Is it time to begin to decrease and discontinue your medication
The goal is to make sure your treatment remains effective, safe, and aligned with your needs at every step.
