Speaks Spanish/Español
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Master Social Worker with a passion for supporting individuals through trauma, life transitions, and healing. I have experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, abuse, family conflict, relationship conflict, and complex trauma. I also have extensive experience with justice-involved individuals, including juveniles and adults reentering the community after incarceration.
My clinical approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive. I utilize evidence-based practices, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing, to help clients build resilience and move forward with confidence.
I hold a Master of Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Connecticut. My work experience has spanned child welfare, immigrant family support, legal systems, and community-based care for underserved populations. I’m committed to creating a safe, affirming space where every client feels heard, respected, and empowered.
