Luna Hajjar
JD Zentek-Hajjar
I have been working in the social services field since 2021 and have dedicated my career to supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges with compassion, authenticity, and evidence-based care. My passion lies in helping people discover their strengths, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Criminology in 2020 before pursuing my Master of Social Work, allowing me to develop a well-rounded understanding of the complex relationship between mental health, substance use, trauma, and the systems that impact people’s lives. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and am currently working toward becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Throughout my career, I have worked with adults across a variety of settings, including substance use treatment, mental health care, crisis services, medication-assisted treatment, and private practice. These experiences have given me the opportunity to support individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, addiction, and co-occurring mental health concerns.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, person-centered, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs. I believe that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. Together, we will identify your goals, build upon your existing strengths, and develop practical tools to help you navigate life’s challenges both inside and outside of the therapy room. I integrate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, strengths-based interventions, mindfulness, and psychoeducation to meet clients where they are in their journey.
As a therapist, I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and genuinely understood. I show up with empathy, honesty, curiosity, and without judgment. I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important aspects of meaningful change, and I value building trust through authenticity, consistency, and collaboration. Whether you’re taking your first step into therapy or returning after time away, my goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and confident as you move toward the life you want to create.
Seeking therapy is a courageous step, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they heal, grow, and rediscover their resilience.
