What is Gender Dysphoria?
Gender dysphoria refers to distress that arises when a person feels a disconnect between their experienced sense of self and their biological gender. This can involve discomfort with one’s body, uncertainty about social roles, or a struggle to feel at home in one’s identity. These feelings are real and can be intense, impacting emotional health, relationships, and daily life.
